So we purchased some snap-together, dark wood flooring, that is hand carved on the top. It has a red tint to it. Last night we tore up all our carpet and will take it to the dump later. Josh layed a bit of the floor last night (as a practice run) and so far it looks great!
We bought enough to do our bedroom too, but after talking we decided we'll take it back and recarpet our stairs and the entire upstairs. We found some tile that was only $0.99 a square foot so we're going to go back and purchase that and some carpet. The tile for our whole kitchen will probably only cost $300.00. Of course that's not including the grout or glue to stick it down.
I think our house is going to look amazing! If we tile the bathrooms too our whole house will have new flooring.
We're pretty excited. I'll try to borrow someone's digital camera (any offers?) so we can take a picture of our beautiful "new" home.

no. Josh bought me a really crappy one for Christmas one year, but it's like a McDonald's Happy Meal prize or something.
I've always wanted to do the floors in our place like that. Let me know when you're done cause I want to see!
We have an old old crappy one- Not too crappy, the pictures just take a lot of memory space. It's like a 3 or 4 Megapixel. But it doesn't have a memory card. Let me know
