Well if you read my brothers' blogs you will already know that we went to Island Park Idaho this past week to spend some quality time together as a family.
Josh and I slept with our dogs in the "Little Cabin", which is a glorified shed, made to look like a little log cabin. We brought Josh's parents' blow-up bed, which made sleeping in the Little Cabin bearable.
Speaking of Bears, we went to Yellowstone hoping to see one. Mom and Dad went with us and it was fun to spend some one-on-one time with them. Sadly the only wildlife we even saw was the Bald Eagle at the begining of the park. No elk. No bears. Not even one buffalo!
So on the way home we decided to go to Bear World so that we could say we at least saw some wildlife on this trip.
Bear World was pretty cool. For $16.95 per person, with a maximum of $75 per car load we were able to see bears, a buffalo, and elk, all in the comfort of our own car, driving 3 miles per hour.
We saw some people feeding baby bears bottles, for the mere additional cost of $50 per person! Not worth it in our minds, but fun to watch.
There were about 5 kiddy rides, and a petting zoo, which were included in the entrance price. I would recommend going here at least once in your life. A fun time was had by all.

For $16.95 per person, couldn't you just buy your own bear? You know, they have bears, Elk and even Gorillas at the zoo and that is $6.00/person
My sister lives near Island Park and I've driven past that place many times. I wondered if it was worth it. Thanks for the heads up.
