San Diego!

Thought I should take a minute to update my blog since I haven't blogged since before our vacation and I'm sure some of you were wondering if we either died while on vacation, or just decided to move to Sunny San Diego because it is sooo amazing and who wouldn't want to live there? Okay! Enough run-on sentencing. . . and let's get started talking about our amazing trip:

First of all let me just say how amazing it is to fly to California. What? Paradise is only like 2 hours away? Why don't we go more often? Stupid not enough money to go all the time world! Not to mention it took longer to get our rental car than it did to FLY to California! What? It was a long line!

So then we got our car and dropped our junk off at the hotel. (Junk being bags/luggage) and then went to explore San Diego! We drove around downtown and found the mall (which would come in handy the next day when we went to a movie). We found Ghirradelli Chocolate and split a Sundae.

Sunday we went to Sea World. It took us almost an hour to get there because there was a marathon going on that ran right down the street that goes to Sea World. We were getting a little frustrated, but finally made it to see Shamu!

They have an amazing Circ de la Mer show there, which is so cool, but definately not long enough. We got to see all to shows because it wasn't even crowded. It's very strange to go on a vacation in a recession because there are so many fewer people on vacation. It's almost eerie at times!

We went to Old Town for dinner that night and we were the only couple at the restaurant. This place (The Livingroom) had a live band and everything! It was amazing and romantic and I felt bad for the owners!

Well that's all I have time for right now, but I'll blog more about our San Diego Vacation as soon as possible. I'll also include pictures. Thank you in advance to my mom and dad who leant us their digital camera, and to my brother Ike who helped me put the pictures onto a disk. I'll include pictures in my next post!
