Update

Okay so I don't have much to blog about lately, but I'm blogging anyways because I can't stand to see Glenn Becks face as the first thing I see on my blog.

This weekend has been great so far. Wednesday and Thursday were busy with Thanksgiving food preparations and feasting on Thanksgiving dinner. We went to my parents for lunch. All of my siblings and their families were there. We went around the table and said what we were grateful for. I forgot to mention in my list that I was grateful that our whole family was together for the holiday. I mean, what are the odds that you have five children who marry into five families, who go to one side of the family every-other year, but all happen to go to the Yospe side on the same year. Amazingly every single one of my sibling's "Yospe family turn" is on the same year.

My three oldest nephews were asked to say what they were grateful for.
Luke (age 4) said "I'm grateful for Mommy, and Daddy, and Max."
Lincoln (age almost 8) said "I'm grateful for the army." Don't know where that came from, but it was the only thing he listed. Very responsible of him I suppose. His little brother, Calder (age 4) is the complete opposite. When asked what he was grateful for he said "Um. . . The GRINCH!"

Friday, and so far today (Saturday) have just been spent relaxing and taking advantage of the long weekend. Josh and I went to lunch yesterday and ran into his parents at the restaurant! Wish they'd arrived the same time as us because we could've sat together. Last night they brought us their 4 foot tall fake Christmas tree to borrow for the season. Later tonight Josh and I are going to decorate it. Last year our tree was only 18 inches tall and I'm excited to use all my ornaments this year instead of just the little ones.

The first year Josh and I were married we bought a real tree. Which we decided not to do again when it fell over in the middle of the night and spilled pine needles and water all over our living-room carpet. In my excitement of having my first Christmas tree as a married woman I bought all red and silver ornaments for our tree. I have some beautiful ornaments that I wasn't able to use last year.

Josh and I already bought (and opened) our Christmas gifts to each other and we will enjoy just having a small Christmas with our family. We bought some games from "Game Night" on 2100 So. and 700 East in Salt Lake City. I highly recommend this store. They have really unique and fun games to play. We bought a game called "Wasabi" and the expansion pack to "Ticket to Ride, Europe". Yesterday we also bought some shoes at Famous Footwear. I needed some slip on shoes because my growing belly is already making it difficult to put on shoes, let alone tie the laces. So now we're done and won't have anything to open on Christmas morning, but we don't mind. We like to keep it small and just spend time with our families.

I'm now starting to feel the baby kick on a regular basis. It was really strange at first, but I'm getting used to it. I'm now 22 weeks pregnant. Only 17 or 18 weeks to go until we meet our little guy!
