Possible house for rent

We are thinking about taking our house off of the market and renting it out instead. We're definately moving in two to three weeks and we have had only one family look at our home since we listed it.

The lady helping us sell our house told us that we didn't overprice our home, but because there is an "Home Owners Association" it makes it difficult for people to get loans for these townhomes, and with the housing market down people may need to put 10% down, which for our type of home is not likely that people will have 10% to put down.

We would like to rent our home out so we're not making two house payments on our own for a few months. We could do it, but it would be tight. Plus it would be nice to wait to sell our property when the housing market goes back up, or to use it as a tax shield. Not sure what to do.

I say sell if you can, rent as a last resort. Maybe you could put up a for rent and for sale sign? I have seen people do that. The first one you get you go with.

I would rent it out with the market how it is... it'll probably have a few more years of appreciation if you hold onto it...but, then you have to deal with renters...

if you decide to rent, how much would it go for and how many bedrooms?

We'd rent it for $890. It has three bedrooms, two of which are sort of small.

Sorry, this is unrelated to your blog, but I don't have your email.

You guys around this evening for a West Pointe Meadows Get Together?

We can pull some grills into the parking lot, bring out the chairs, knock on everyones doors, bring your own meat and maybe stuff to share too.

4:30 or 5 something like that

Sorry it is so last minute, but lets give it a try.
